From the Office 

 Welcome to the last newsletter for 2019, wow hasn't this year gone quick? and we have a very busy year planned for 2020, with the centre renovation starting the first week of 2020. I hope everyone had a chance to look at the plans at Friday nights concert. 

I would like to start of by thanking all our wonderful families for your support over the last year, and previous years. For some of these families it will be their last year with us and we will truly miss you all. 

Christmas Concert 

Thank you to all our families and extended families that come to the children's Christmas concert on Friday night. I think you will agree all of the children preformed so well on the night, some of our new families didn't realize what a huge night this event is and could believe the number of families that attended. We appreciate all the effort the educators put in leading up to the event and some of there partners that gave up their night to cook the BBQ for us and Sally who made up the raffles for us, we couldn't do this with out the help. 

Holidays 

 If you are planning on taking holidays please fill in a holiday request form, you can find these in the office or just ask one of the educators. Letting us know when you will be absent helps us to give educators time off and the Christmas period is a good time for the Educators to spend  some well earned time off with their families. 

The centre will be closed on all public holidays, Christmas day 25th Dec, Boxing day 26th Dec and New Years Day 1st January 2020 if this is your child's booked day you will still have to pay for this day. Other than these public holidays the centre will still run as per usual, as the numbers of children may vary some classes will combine on different days. 

The centre will also be closed at 6 pm on Christmas Eve  http://statements.qld.gov.au/Statement/2019/11/27/christmas-eve-partday-public-holiday-becomes-a-reality please make sure you collect your child/children before 6 pm on the 24th December 

Classes for 2020 

The new classes will start on 28th January 2020, this is also when the school term starts for the year. The 28th is when your child will change rooms if they are moving to the next room up, a list of names will be posted on the door of your childs room. The teachers will be staying in the same rooms for 2020, except for some minor changes.
