Welcome to the last newsletter for 2020, Well what a year we have had! I would like to first of all thank each and everyone of our families and the community for supporting us this year and keeping us all safe. I feel that you have all done your absolute best in keeping your children home when they have been sick this year and it has helped.
Christmas eve the centre will be closing at 6pm sharp, please make sure you pick your children up by this time.
Enrolments for 2021 If you have not returned your enrolment forms for 2021 please do so ASAP as places are filling fast and we wouldn't want you to miss out. Please remember to let me know if you are taking holidays at this time, I need to know if your child will be attending or not so I can arrange for our educators to have time off.
Centre closing days
The centre will be closed on the following days Christmas day 25th December & 28th December also again on Friday the 1st January 2021 for New Year's Day. Australia Day 26th January. Please let me know if your children will be away during the Christmas / New Year period so i can arrange educators and their holidays.
Kindergarten 2021 Program. The School term will resume back on 27th January 2021. I will need the Kindergarten Acknowledge form returned by the families that have children starting in our Kindergarten room. I have emailed all these forms out, if you need another copy sent please let me know.
Christmas Raffle
Winners will be drawn on Tuesday 22nd December, all tickets due back by 9am on that morning. They are $1 each or 6 for $5 we have some great prizes a green machine ride on for toddlers, hampers, a child's wheel barrow with goodies and a foldable beach trolley.
Recycling Cans
This year we have raised $297.10 just by recycling our cans and bottles, not bad for the kind of year it has been. All money raised goes towards purchasing resources for the children, the latest order has been 4 mini mortar and pestles. We will continue this in 2021, so remember to bring in your bottles and cans.
Termination Forms
If your child is starting school in 2021 please remember to fill in a Termination Form, I have sent these forms to all the Kindergarten families that have children leaving. Thank you to the families that have already filled these in and returned them.
Graduation Ceremony
The graduating class of 2020 will be held on Thursday 14th January 2021 starting at 4.30pm, at this point we will only be inviting mums, dads and siblings due to covid-19 restrictions. More details will follow closer to the date, keep an eye out for an email the week before the 14th
