Hello and welcome to our first newsletter for 2018.

We hope all our families had a relaxing Festive season and a Happy New Year.

2018 is welcoming us with exciting changes, starting with Miss Leanne returning in February to our Front Desk as Centre Manager from our Doolandella Centre. I know she is eager to re-connect with families and has missed interacting with our little ones. I would like to say a Thank you to my staff and parents for their patience and support during the last 7 months while I was Acting Centre Manager. 

January will see our Kindergarten children leaving for their first school days at Prep. We wish all children the very best and know with confidence they are ready; skilled and able to start their next journey at school.

We are very excited for Miss Skye & Miss Kirston as they will be going on maternity leave soon with their babies due in early February.  The Underwood staff wish them all the best as they start their first steps into parenthood.

Kindergarten Government Funded Program

Children starting in the Kindergarten room for 2018, are required to fill in the acknowledgement forms, bring in a copy of their birth certificate and health care card (if applicable).  These forms will need to be filled and returned by the 15th January 2018.  

The program runs per QLD school term and the kindergarten discounted fees are only available during this period.
