May News Letter

Welcome to our May Newsletter! As the weather is getting colder please remember to dress your children in layers, They may not want to wear a jumper or jacket but have one in their bag. Please also provide spare clothes in case they have an accident and need changing. Wet dry bags, if you have one of these can you please make sure it is in your child's bag so wet clothing can be sent home? if you don't have one we can order you one for $10 each or you can purchase one of these yourself from all major shops including Kmart and Big W 

Photo Day 

 Thursday 3rd June is Photo Day at Underwood ELC. Our photographer Andrew from Little Images will be here from 7.30am in the morning. He will be taking every child's photo as well as class photos.

If your child is booked in for care on Thursday they will get their photo taken some point in the morning. In between these photos Andrew will be setting up and taking class photos, starting with the Nursery at 9am, Toddlers 9.30am, Junior Kindy 10am, Pre Kindy 10.30am and Kindergarten 11am. If your child is not booked in for care this day, they can still have an individual and class photo taken. You will need to bring your child 5 or 10 minutes before their class photo and drop them into their class room/ teacher. We ask parents to not stay in the centre as we still need to be Covid safe. If you could wait in your car or out the front and please social distance at all times. To pay for your photos follow the simple direction attached and if you have any questions please ask Leanne or any senior educator.  

Book Club 

The next order for book club is due on Monday the 14th June, catalogs can be found at the sign in terminal. every dollar spent gains the centre points to purchase books. 

Kindergarten Parent teacher interviews   

The Kindergarten parent teacher interviews are still under way with Monday 31st May the last day to book a spot to talk to Miss Joann about your child's development, see clip board in the office for booking times.
